Multi tap for Storm

Hi. I need some assistance please. I've had my Storm about 3 weeks and sure I will learn to love it but I'm not that techy and quickly get frustrated. Is there a way to enable the Multi tap function so it is always on? It seems to be hit and miss even if I reply to the same person within a few minutes. Also, does anyone know of a class enviroment in the Ventura, Ca area? Thank you!!! Kathy
