about 2 months ago my blackberry completely crashed and had to be restored. I backup my phone on my laptop, so I thought it was no big deal. Well, after I restored my phone, My browser and my Verizon apps were gone. I went to the Verizon store and they spent about 15 minutes fiddling with my phone and got my browser back. Then when I went to pay my bill that month (which I do from my phone), I found that the Verizon app is gone. How can I get it back on my phone?
I've tried searching for a download link, but can't find one. help!
I will be glad to provide you with some steps to download the My Verizon application back to your Blackberry Curve. The steps below are for certain models of the curve.
To download the software for the BlackBerry 8130, 8330, and 8830 do the following:
|1||Launch the browser.|
|2||Select My Verizon from the VZ Start page.|
|3||Download the My Verizon application.|
|4||Revisit the BlackBerry landing page, after download is complete.|
Select My Verizon icon.
Note: This icon is created the first time the application is downloaded.
|6||Select View/Manage your account.|
Reboot the device to initialize the program.
Note: Once download and reboot is complete, program is available from the BlackBerry front page.
To download the software for the BlackBerry Curve 2 do the following:
|1||Locate the My Verizon Icon on the BlackBerry Desktop.|
|2||Click on Icon.|
|3||Follow steps to download application.|
|4||Return to click Icon to use application as needed.|
thanks so much, I never use my VZ navigator page, which would be why i didn't realize that I could download it from there. haha. Now I feel dumb.
