Need Help to terminate customer agreement

I just bought a new BB Storm, I must say that I LOVE THE PHONE.  My problem is that I can not access my work email system due to the fact that the phone is in my name (work security policy).  They said that if I cancel my account I could then swap out work phones and use my storm on their network.  My question is, How do I go about to terminate my agreement? I know I have to pay the $175.00 and I have no problem with that.  Who gets the money? I can not find anywhere on My Verizon where I can cancel,  I would like this taken care of ASAP so I can use my new phone.  If anyone could provide links it would be greatly predicated.

Call Verizon Wireless customer service (800-922-0204) and fallow the prompts. They will terminate your service effect the end of the billing cycle. You will receive a final bill which will include the early termination fee.

You can also go into a VZW store and have it cancelled. You will still receive the final bill in the mail

Best of luck.

If your company has a Verizon Wireless account, they can also AOL your line.  Assumption of Liability releases your line to the other account.  In essence, they take over your contract.  No disconnect means no early termination fee, and they can do whatever they want with the service.

If you MUST cancel, then you either have to call or go to a store.  As seabright said, the disconnect is effective at the end of your billing cycle -- if you keep the phone.  If you're within the 30 day Worry Free Guarantee, then you can return the device, which waives the ETF, and the disconnect is done immediately.

I love my BB Storm also. But I would never put my work email system in my Storm. You "paid" for the Storm, how much did it cost? Even if your employer gets AOL of your Storm, "what's the catch?" Do the employer offer any of their own phones to use? If not use the company computers to access your work emails.
