I have narrowed down my choices for my next phone to the env3 and the BlackBerry curve. Obviously the BlackBerry offers me the option to have web access. Realistically what are your thoughts on the speed of the browser?. Is it slow/sluggish or do you find the speed acceptable. If the web browser is pretty slow, I may opt for the env3. Thanks in advance.

The curve is not bad but for all out speed the BB Tour is the best with Rev A and the best BB browser to date it can handle Java better than any. Even if you use the Bolt browser is the fastest I have seen on a mobile phone.......for now

The Curve's browser does a pretty good job at displaying basic pages quickly. I can pull up the mobile verisons of CNN, USA Today and NY Times in only a few seconds. But that's just basic text pages with limited images. So it all depends on what type of sites you use the most. If there are mobile versions of them then it's going to pretty quick, but if there's a lot of images and no mobile version the browser will struggle a bit.
But the most common ones work great; myspace, facebook, twitter, yahoo, gmail all have great mobile sites that load quickly.
