BB 8330m
My Network Selection Mode has 3 choices : Auto A, Auto B, and Home Only.
What should it be set on?

>>so go ahead and switch to Auto A and report back. This might solve your internet issue as well. <<
I've already tried that, didn't make any difference. I understand this is one of the first BB's to use MEID Nos. rather than ESN. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

What's the difference ?
I removed the battery for about 20 sec's. and replaced it, I guess that's a battery pull.

Ok, two options:
1. Get your device replaced at your local VZW store; I spoke with a rep and this was his recommendation.
OR
2. Put this......Latest OS: 8330m 4.5.0.205/4.5.0.138 (MEID Devices) download here--->https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...B58CE00D1194C9 on your phone.
Now big red is going to come in here and recommend you not do #2 and that's fine which is why I put it #2. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help, maybe someone else will chime in but I've searched a few websites to no avail on what might be your issue. Let us know what happens.

Thanks Justin for working with me on this, I'll let you know how it turns out.

PS It says >>This is only for the 8830 model (MEID based models)<<
Mine is an 8330, I think I'll stay with option number ONE.

Oh, I thought you said you had a 8330m and that you activated it with the MEID.......Even though that's for US Cellular, it says it will work on any carrier.
Also, a friend gave me this link---->http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/devices/#tab_tab_update
Check it out and see if it does anything. You have to be using IE with a USB cable for it to work.

I do and I did. The link says it's for an 8830 eighty-eight thirty, I have an eighty-three thirty.

I don't know all the inside details of Auto A/B, you can call Tech support to learn all about it. But from my experience it's not too big of a deal to select either A or B. Whatever makes your phone work okay. Home Only is used to have your phone avoid roaming off international towers, for example if you live really, really close to the US border you can choose Home Only to have the phone pick up only domestic towers.
All of the phones I've ever seen or activated have had Automatic B as the default.
