No Playlist listed and lots of Duplicate Filer

I have been trying for severial months to fix this situation and have been with Tech support SEVERAL times.

I have a Blackbeery Storm 9530 I use the latest Desktop Manager from Verizion and have tried Roxio Creator 2009, Vcast wit Rhapsody and Medi Creator. all of which shows one thing on my computer. yet when I disconnect the usb cable and even pull the battery out of my phone this does not work..

I create a couple of playlist and drag my audio books and songs mp3 etc and it all looks good I drag it to my media card on my storm.

yet to my suprise I come up with no playlist and duplicate artist, geners and albms. all of which does me no justice.

so please any and all help would be of great appriciation.

I just want to work on things or drive down the road and select music playlist and have it play.

Well, let's see here. I am currently using the storm as well. Like you I first used the DM to load music, pictures etc... onto my device. Then I started to notice some discrepancies with my music files. So as I had my device plugged into my laptop, I opened my computer and saw 2 USB associated drives. These drives represent your device memory (this is what comes standard on the storm) and the media card(this is normally 8gig). So if I explored the 2 drives as if you were exploring any type folders on you computer, I noticed duplicate songs. 1 song would be listed on the media card and a duplicate was listed on the device memory. Keep in mind that all of this is going on without DM running. So the next action I took was to remove all the media off of my device. I created a folder in My documents call Blackberry Device. I save all my backups to this folder as well as 3rd party apps.. Anyhow, inside this folder I made another folder called Media. So from here I searched my device and selected all the media I had installed, Cut, then pasted into the media folder I created on my computer.

From here I would disconnect my device safely from the computer. On your device go into Options. Open the memory, then highlight the media card. Push your menu button(blackberry button), then select format. This will wipe your media card clean.

Now go back into your media folder that you created on your computer. Select all your music then copy, paste onto your fresh, clean media card.

As far as your playlist; I have personally not made a playlist but I would open your media player on your storm, select music. Then select playlist. Yes it will probably show 0 but you can push your menu button at this point a create a new playlist from the music you just loaded onto your device. Or you may try to use windows media play to create a playlist and copy, paste like you did with the music, but I have a feeling that this is where you may be seeing the duplicates originate.
