Numbers on Text Message page

What does 160/ 1 of 7 stand for? It is at the top of all of all my contacts on the Text Messaging page.....I never noticed the 1 of 7 before......just curious........

Hey,

My understanding is that any texts greater than 160 characters will be sent to another text, ie; 2 of 7, etc. In my opinion, if a text is that long, send an email. Hope that helps.

StreetDocRN is correct, 7 is the maximum number of messages your phone can send at one time. One message is 160 characters.
