I just got my blackberry curve today and ever since I have been getting this message every 30 mins. its from:
//BREW:0104F4BCZMAIL
CI=C1E886965428FB99F7BB325040DA9DEDMC=5
and it just says: To stop these messages simply reply to this one (charge may apply)
I didnt get them on my old phone and was wondering if anybody knew what it was....Also the green light is constantly flashing and the phone is fully charged and I cant make it stop any ideas?

Adding the PREM SMS block alone will not cancel the subscription. It does need to be cancelled with a text message.
On a different note...I'm thinking this message may be something else. On your old phone prior to switching to the Blackberry, did you have a basic handset? And if so, did you have the mobile email subscription??

Don't know about that message you're getting...definetly strange.
As for the green LED flashing...it's supposed to do that every 4-5 seconds. It's called the coverage indicator. If you prefer to have this turned off you can go to your Options--->Screen/Keyboard and in the list of settings is the LED Coverage Indicator..change it to off and it will no longer flash green all the time. Keep in mind however, it will still flash red whenever you get some type of message.

Wow I should screen shot this. Risu is only 1/2 right Putting the block on stops the premium sms form coming to you. However you must unscribe from the service to stop the charge.
Best way to put it. Just becuase you put the magazine subscribtions in the trash dont mean they still wont bill you.
All the love you to your risu. Keep up your good work and info

I had the same problem, and the same solution solved my problem as well. I reactivated my Samsung Alias, downloaded the Mobile Email App, and unchecked the alerts checkbox. I then unsubscribed my email address from the Mobile Email App and unsubscribed from the app. I also changed the password on my email account, just as a precaution. It's been 5 days, and I haven't received any more of the "OzMail" text messages, where I was receiving 5-10 per day. I only have 250 text messages/month, so those messages could easily have put me over the edge.
I did check my usage and notice that I had 5 international text messages, which I assume were from trying to reply with "STOP", "UNSUBSCRIBE", etc. I don't think that part had any effect, but I'm sure I'll get charged $0.25/message for the effort.
Thanks all for the info!
