Sorry if it is a stupid question.... I wonder if I can set up a "pop 3" email on the Storm. Another word, I would like to set up a company email instead of Yahoo, gmail, hotmail or bb email. I searched for hours on the forum but could not find the answer.

My second question is how to set up or any other way to use the navigator FREE on the bb storm, I had unlimited txt, and data plan, I can't afford to pay $9.99 more to use VZnavigator!!!.  Someone, please help

Is there a SINGLE way to use navigator for free on the Storm?  I use google maps which gives me turn by turn directions from my current position... although it isn't audible.  Otherwise, just buy a garmin or some similar device if you don't want to pay a monthly fee for the service.

As far as poping your email, I think you may have to setup a BIS account... I could be wrong since all I use is gmail, but it's probably something to do with that.

Yes, there is support for POP3 accounts on the Storm thru BIS (Blackberry Internet Service). That's the $29.99 data plan. Once you get your Blackberry the first time it starts it runs thru a set up wizard where you can enter in the information from the POP3 email account you want to set up.

I have the GPS Magellan 4040 but it is always nice if I can use my phone when I left my GPS at home. Thanks for the tip to use Google Map turn by turn, but how do you set it up?

How do I go back to the point where I can set POP3 email? I didn't set it up on first time power up, now can't find where to go back.

Thanks for all your helps!

to get there just use the setup wizard to setup email wether its BIS or BES. Since you said you didnt want a Gmail type account then you dont want a pop I think you are wanting a BES email setup. This would be for Outlook or Lotus Notes and you will have to have the 45 dollar data plan for this.

BB maps turn by turn works fine I use it all the time. One thing is you need turn on your GPS first before it will work also.options>advanced options>gps>gps service>location on

if you have already setup email on your phone, you will need to get a vzw tech to setup a username and password for you.  if you haven't setup email yet, click new user.  this is the easiest place i have found to setup email accounts.

Well, its not turn by turn in the sense of a GPS deal like the Magellan or Navigator.

It's just like using their website, but it will still list out turn by turn directions all at once (so you'll have to keep looking at the phone every so often).  I went to mobile.google.com and downloaded the maps app... Its set up by default to pin point you on the map and when you look up directions, you have the "from my current location" option.
