Phantom E-mail address

I have a BB Curve 8330 and I am new to the Smart Phone era so please be patient with me.

I have used this forum to ind out a lot that I could not have with out going to the Verizon Store for help. Thanks to everyone for helping us!

I used https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw to set up my personal e-mail address and all seem to be ok. The first thing that looked odd to me was I created a new e-mail on my domain, jfwii@******.net , please note the lower case ii. When I set this up at https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw I notices that it created jfw11@*******.net, not jfwii. I am sure I typed something wrong but that is not the case, I changed it back to jfwii@******.net.

Everything worked fine until I sent a test message to my phone e-mail. I received the e-mail on my phone but I also get an auto reply that jfw11@******.net does not exist.

I loged into https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw and checked everything and it looks fine, jfwii on everything.

How do I fix this? Do I need to delete the email account and start over?

Thanks for your help and please let me know if you need more information!

I would delete it in the BIS and readd there.

Can anyone tell me "how" to delete an email account from your BB to setup a different one? I know I can setup up to 10 but I don't want one that I'm no longer using either.

Go to: www.blackberry.com/go/vzw.  Log in as an existing user with userid/password.  Find the email accounts that you don't want & then trash them.  You can have up to 11 email accounts coming to your device which equal 10 (pop3, imap, etc.) and one vzw.blackberry.net account.

If you already have a username and password but have forgotten it, call into technical support for further assistance.

I ended up having to call verizon.  I found out the lady in the store that set up my email account for me, didn't bother to tell me about the website where I could make changes, or even tell me what my user ID and password was. But all is straightened out now.

Thanks for all the help.
