Before leaving Los Angeles, CA, I called Verizon's technical support and wanted to make sure that my BB Storm would work properly when traveling to Lima, Peru. They told me that the phone should work as the networks are compatible, but for the data, I would need to call back and speak to the data support folks. I did that and the wanted my sim number, which I gave them and they did whatever they do and told me everything should work. Well, I can't email (send or receive) so I'm looking for help. What settings do I have to change, etc...

I don't know about Lima, but I was having a problem in Singapore. The phone linked up with Singtel and worked as a phone but not for data. I called VZ and they told me to try another network. You do that in Manage Connections. I changed networks and all is well.
