SMS Texts???

So im having problems using my blackberry storm.. When I had my bb curve I could text up to 6 pages of 160 characters how come I cant do that on my storm?  It stops me at 160 Characters which is really annoying!  Im so used to using up to 3 to 4 pages.  Is my phone messed up?
