If I get a Blackberry, and I hardly have service at my house, will my Blackberry run off my wireless internet enabling me to have service.. and text?

The BB Bold (9650), Curve (8530, 9330), and Storm (9550) are all wif-fi capable, so yes, you will have some functionality through your wireless connection. Some things (BBM, for example) will not work on wi-fi, and if you have no signal, then you wouldn't be able to use the phone functions either - including texting.
