My Storm 2 lags when writing a text message. It doesnt happen with BBM or when putting text into an MMS message. I have no apps downloaded. The only things running are the 5 that are always running, phone, messages, bbm, the internet and home. I'm running version 5.0.0.1015 Bundle 1656 Platform 4.2.0.422.

I did one security wipe per the rep at the Verizon store. That worked temporarily then right back to slow texting. I use the memory cleaning function that came with the phone. That doesnt seem to do anything. I've cleared all call logs, browsing history and all texting history and folders. It will work temporarily and then slow right back down. I've done plenty of battery pulls as well and that makes no difference.
Am I doing something wrong? Anybody else have this problem? Are there any fixes? Should I go back an operating system?
