Storm Screen Lock Workaround

I would like to lock the screen on my Storm so that I have to push one of the convenience keys before the screen lights up. Currently, whenever the screen gets bumped, it turns on. I've got 'back light timeout' set at at the lowest setting (10 sec.), but I would like to have it only turn on when I intend it to. Suggestions anyone?

The best way to lock your screen is to download a application called Talk Lock. I use it and the best thing i have ever done. I use to put people on mute, speaker phone etc. without it. Also its free. All you have to do it slide your finger across the screen kinda like the iphone and it unlocks it. Do a google search for talk lock and it will say talk lock for blackberry storm. (Do this from your phone cause it will be a OTA download)

Your Storm has a button on the top left hand corner that will lock the screen for you.  You must press and hold it to lock the screen or you can optain a case for the device everytime you put the phone in that case it will lock or as mentioned prior put the phone in sleep mode for you.  Talk lock is an ota that is no longer free which will lock the phone when you are on a call.  Hope this helps.
