Storm Voice Dialing issue

I am currently having a problem using my voice dialing feature. When I try to start up the feature it "initializes" then an error screen pops ups, "out of memory, please delete unused names from your contact list to free memory for voice recognition".

I have 734 contacts in my phone. They consist of first, last names, addresses, emails, other field filled in and multiple phone numbers,, all depending on the contact. There are no problems with the sync part of the system since my outlook and device have a mirror image of everything.

My device is on a BES system through work using Microsoft exchange and outlook 07' on my computer. This has been a sporatic problem for awhile. The device memory is currently at 29 but it has jumped all over the place and it has had even less with the feature still working.

I have looked through my contacts and deleted any un used items, however this feature was working fine the other day with 800+ contacts.

Any thoughts?

I've gotten that once or twice it usually just means that all the apps that you have running aren't leaving any memory for the Nuiance voice software to use.  Either open them up and close them or if you are having other problems doing a hard reset (pulling out the battery) and sitting through that screen with the white clock should fix you right up.

At the point of using a hammer over voice dialing issues? C'mon you must have a better reason than that to resort to violence lol.  On the serious side only option I have left in my bag of magic tricks is to see if you are running a huge application that you can live without and try dumping it.  If it's something you got from AppWorld you can reinstall it later.
