I used vznavigator with my Storm (plugged into a verizon wireless car charger) on a 2-hour road trip. The vznavigator locked-up about 45 minutes into the drive and the storm got very hot (battery?). The vznavigator eats my battery in no time, so on longer trips I need to plug it into the car charger for power. I'm not sure if I have a battery problem, car charger problem, or just a vznavigator power-use problem. Does anyone have experience with this combination of hardware and software?

Using it and charging with a standard wall charger at the same time should not present a problem. However, car chargers, unlike wall chargers, charger much more quickly and are not designed to be left in all the time. I would recommend only plugging it in to the car charger when you need to then unplugging it when it is fully charged.
Best of luck.
