Is your company using a Blackberry Enterprise Server, or Blackberry Professional Server? These programs are what would keep your device in sync with your exchange account.
Without these you would have to install the Blackberry desktop manager onto your computer and plug your storm in to sync. You can select the syncronize button to setup what you'd like to sync and how much information you'd like to sync. There would not be a wireless syncronization of your calendar at this point, however.
