Switching International Carriers

Hi all,

I am using the Blackberry torch that has a UK carriers (o2) sim card in it. I also have a basic verizon plan on an american phone. I was wondering if it is possible to switch my verizon service over to the blackberry torch and add a blackberry data plan. Is this possible?
