I use my Storm to tether to my home computer. at first it work great. even wilth 64% signal strenght i go about 150KB per sec average. I could stream on u tube pretty well but now i'm lucky to get 10. does anyone have any ideas that could help.

Hmmm . . . I can't think of too much more to do either. I would be a bit concerned if I was routinely streaming data at 150kbs and now was routinely at only 10kbs. That is an enormous difference and something significant has to be causing it. Are you sure the speed is accurately being recorded? I say this because it is virtually impossible to accurately determine cell phone data speeds because of a host of interfering factors. A number of programs and sites "claim" they can record it accurately but none of them really can . . . not even the phone itself. This has been an issue that a number of people have been trying to resolve.
However, that large of a difference doesn't even need a meter as you will clearly notice it yourself as you are doing. At this point all I can recommend is that you have a Verizon store tech take a look at it to see if something in the device itself is the cause. It could be a setting somewhere that got triggered incorrectly or just about anything. If it turns out to be something along those lines please post back and let us know what setting or issue was the culprit as many others might be having the same issue.
