How do I transfer text messages to my computer or how can I get a hard copy of my text messages?

The only way to do it is to forward your text messages to an email address. You can view your text messaging detail via your MyVerizon, but it only gives you date/time and number to/from, not any of the actual content.

I wonder if there is any way to extract them from the .IPD file you create when you back up your handheld with DM?  Thoughts?
