Texting with BB Storm

I used to be able to type 6 or 7 pages of txt in my old EVO cell phone.  It seems that I can only do 1 with the BB storm.  Am I doing something wrong or is this by design?

Hey all,

Well if you haven't found it by now...in the SMS format, you are limited to 160 characters. I think MMS is more. The fix around the SMS is to save as a draft once you get close to the 160 ch and then reopen the draft that you saved. I think this starts your allotment of characters over again. Email is unlimited.
