I'm using gmail configured with IMAP enabled on my Curve. When an email arrives, if I immediately unlock my BB, the incoming email is opened for me. If I wait a few minutes this doesn't happen and I have to open email and open the new message. How can I stop this automatic "feature"? I really don't want to open spam/virus messages. Friends and family with Curves don't see this behavior so I suspect it's a result of IMAP. If I turn off IMAP in gmail, I stop receiving messages. Not sure how to resolve this without deleting and reconfiguring the BB email account after turning off gmail IMAP. I assume if I do that I'll lose all the messages currently on my BB.
