Verizon phones are AWFUL but Customer Service is WORSE

I can't handle having to talk to 15 different people about an issue, each person clearly dumber then the next, then after all that being told there is nothing they can do to help. i had 2 different phones sent to me both were broken! Then to top it off I have a mac so trying to transfer media is impossible. I don't care that this is a RIM issue YOU SHOULDN'T SELL A PRODUCT THAT HAS ISSUES LIKE THIS. If I had known this I would never have purchased a blackberry. Dealing with a store employee to discuss my issues is literally like talking to a trained monkey (but they were obviously trained by a **bleep**) TELLING ME YOU FEEL MY PAIN DOES NOT HELP THE SITUATION!! That only makes me angrier!! So in the end my contract is up soon and thanks to the NYC East 86th St employees I will be taking my money (as well as the 5 other contracts I pay for) elsewhere AT&T and IPHONE here I come!!!

I took my Blackberry to the local Verizon store;it wasn't charging. They tried to charge so that my contacts could be uploaded and downloaded into a new phone. I told them i didnt want another phone like that one because it was always crashing and i could not get my calls until it restarted, I stated i just wanted to upgrade to the Droid Incredible. The sales person said they were on back order and i would not be able to get it until the end of June. Therefore they would have to replace my Blackberry. I said please order the Droid so i can get it and learn how to use it before our companys big festival event, My phone was put on the store charger. It was not charging. I asked if it could possibly be the battery. I was told no it was the charging port.
Concurrently, i was told by another store associate that I could NOT get a replacement phone anyway as there could not be two open orders per account, I had to borrow my sisters LG phone. There were at least 6 different store associates including 2 managers that i had spoken to over the course of four days, Everytime i went back into the store to get resolution ( they had my phone) i had to explain the entire situation all over, after waiting at the end of a long line...again!. This issue took four days in this store! They couldn't resolve this...I cant get a replacement phone because I have a Droid on order, and I can't use my phone because it will not recharge and they wont give me a replacement anyway! I said get a battery,try that! They could not find a battery. I drove to several stores 40 miles away. One franchise store gave me a used battery. I took it to the corporate store nearby;,they recharged it overnight. I got the battery next day and ran it to my local store.Now I dont need a replacement phone. When i got there my phone was gone! It was shipped as a return, without downloading my contacts! I am extremely disgusted with the BAD customer service of the Associates and esp, the store manager. They do not leave notes on the account to assist the next associate that helps you! And there will be several of them even throughout the course of a day!

If they had communicated with each other properly, then my phone would not have been returned to the distribution center to be stripped of all contents and refurbished! Even without notes doesnt it make sense that if the battery cannot be charged then the contacts were not downloaded into their little black box. Sales Associates are DISassociated with their customers! They have no common sense and they dont even want to be there They are motivated to sell only and if they dont sell enough they get fired!
