Vista PC connects to Tour, but Access Manager can't detect it

I've managed to successfully get online with my Tour tethered to a Windows XP netbook using Access Manager. However, I can't get it to work on a Vista-equipped laptop. The Vista laptop connects to the Tour just fine, but Access Manager can't detect that the Tour is connected.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Access Manager. I also tried installing the latest version of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager. Nothing seems to work.
Does anyone have other suggestions? Thanks!
