Visual Voice Mail on Storm

I can barely hear the voice message when connected normally with the volume turned all the way up.  I have to switch over to the external speaker to hear it full volume.  I have deleted this program and re-loaded it but I get the same thing.  Does anybody have a resolution to this problem?
