I just noticed that the option to have Visual Voicemail directed to a Bluetooth handsfree device was dropped with a recent OTA update. I now have version 1.0.16 installed after accepting the update.
Previously, there was an option to have VVM directed to the handset, speakerphone or Bluetooth. With this latest update Bluetooth is no longer an option.
I reported this to Verizon technical support who acknowledged and said they would pass this along to the appropriate support team. I also requested a way to downgrade to a version that had the Bluetooth support, but they said they could not provide me a way to do this.
So, if this feature is important to you, do not upgrade to Version 1.0.16 or you will lose this functionality.
I have a Blackberry Storm 2 device. Not sure if this may be device dependent.
