Where is the Torch???

Is there any hope for Verizon to get a new, innovative phone?  I recently checked out the Torch at an AT&T store, and I have to say - I'm VERY tempted to switch.  Will Verizon be getting the new Torch (or a similar touch/keyboard Blackberry)?  If not, it may be time to move on.
