blackberry storm

I got my BB storm in March 09.   I got a call and answered it.  When i went  to make a call it said device is locked. so i hit the unlock on the top of the phone.  then it said reset.  so i waited to reset.   I then found out that everything in the phone was wiped out. 

all contacts, pictures,email settings. Now I am getting someones elses e-mails from hotmail..I NEVER HAD A HOTMAIL ACCOUNT.

It want let me reset my email account or anything else... Has this happened to anyone else?

The short answer for me is NO.   Gez, I thought I had seen pretty much everything crazy with this device but apparently it continues to demonstrate why NOT to rush a device to market just for the Christmas profits.    I would just take it to Verizon's service tech's and don't be surprised if they say pretty much the same thing :smileysad:
