changing email to my blackberry storm

I am needing assistance in changing email address to my blackberry.  I would like to create one through verizon, but i've been on hold to customer services for 115 minutes!

You can add your current email address to the Storm. Select I want to add or create an email address option in the set up wizard. It can be yahoo, google, etc. Sorry if this doesn't help any.

You can also just go options>email settings>email accounts>Add an email account

Are you trying to create a vzw.blackberry.net email account?  From your Storm: BlackBerry Menu/Setup/Email Settings if you have a BIS login chose Exisying User and enter your credentials.  If not create your username/password for your BIS account.  After you log in you will be able to add existing email accounts (yahoo, gmail, hotmail, etc.) and you can also create a vzw.blackberry.net email address.  Just remember if you ever switch your number to a non-BlackBerry device you will lose access to your vzw.blackberry.net email address.
