Is there a way to sync my Yahoo contacts to my BB?  I got a new phone one and dont have a Sims card.  Can I take both of them to the store to have it done?

You may have a few options, depending on which model of phone your transferring the contacts from. You can take it to a Verizon store (applies to any phone), you may be able to use Verizon's Backup Assistant (link below), and you may be able to use BlackBerry Desktop Manager once you install it on your computer.

Otherwise, I would think Yahoo has a sync feature similar to Google's. I used Google Sync to transfer mine by going to the Google website on old BlackBerry and syncing my contacts. Then when I signed into Gmail on my new phone, they were all there. Maybe Yahoo works the same way?
