curve 8330 app probs

Vzw app zone stopped connecting (error messages) so I contacted vzw.  I've taken battery out, wiped handset clean, backuped everything and restored, Now, in addition to vzapp zone icon totally gone, the internet browser icon is also gone.  Any suggestions?

First, let's try to get your device in working order so that you have internet.  Resend your service books.  If you do not know how, the attached PDF file will explain how.  Let me know if you get the internet back after that.

I cannot find any option to even set up a new email account.  Have looked through the entire phone cannot find these options  😞

Hi,

Ok, let's register your device with the BIS.  On your device, go to Options>Advanced Options>Host Routing Table.  Press the Menu Key (to the left of the trackpad) and select Register Now.  After you have done that, pull the battery out and allow the device to reboot.  Then, see if you have internet.

Thank you. Yes, internet icon is back and working as well as the email settings icon and a bing app that I installed.  The vzw app zone is still gone.

Ok,

Open your browser on your Blackberry and go to http://converge.vzwwap.com or http://mobile.vzw.com and you should be able to get it back.  Hope this helps.

Thanks--I was able to find vzw tones.   I did not see vzw app zone but that's ok I appreciate your help!
