I just ordered my first blackberry 8330.  I currently use the USB727 wireless broadband modem.  It is my understanding that I can use the curve as an external modem for my laptop.  It this is true, can anyone tell me the difference in speed or connectivity?  I appreciate all responses as it was the comments from the this site that made me change my mind from ordering the Storm and instead ordered the Blackberry Curve 8330.   Thanks everyone!

keep the USB727...all the advertising says that tethering the BB offers lightning fast speeds.  Not True.  Plus when phonecalls come in or if you want to make a call while on your laptop, you have to disconnect.  To me, the extra expense of the USB is worth it.
