i recently switched to a certified replacement phone. once i activated the email today it has gone crazy. my analysis is that every email i saved or sent on my old phone has been re opened and sent again upon activation of the new one. currently the phone is off. this is really bad because if all old emails are going out again then i will have a lot of confused and irritated customers.
is there a way to deactivate the email? turn the phone back on. i can't have it sending emails from 3 months ago
If you have a Verizon BIS account, you can login to https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw from a computer to deactivate your email.
Another option is to go to the "manage internet email" icon on your phone and edit/delete the email address you have set up.
