Just got a blackberry curve and I paired it with my handsfree link in my car as I have done with past phones. It says "pairing completed successfully" so, as in the past, every time I get in my car the phone should be discovered but it's not. I have to physically open bluetooth on phone and search for devices, wait,...... then I can make a call but after the call is completed the link is disconnected. Don't know where to start. Not sure if it's a blackberry issue or car. All previous phones worked fine.
You might want to make your car a trusted device for your blackberry. If you go into the Bluetooth menu, highlight the profile for your car, hit menu, hit device properties, next to Trusted it probably says Prompt, change that to yes, hit menu and select save. This should trigger it to automatically recognize your car's bluetooth whenever in range.
