Hi,

I am not sure, but from what I understand, someone sent you an email using RTF (Rich Text Formating).  I do not believe that the Blackberry can read RTF email.  It needs to be sent in plain text.

Hi,

I tested this and it is true.  I sent my Tour an email in RTF from my desktop using Outlook.  The result was an email with an attachment that was a winmail.dat file.  So, there you go.  You have to use plain text or HTML.
