how do i unlock blackerry 9550 to work on the south african network?

hi

i recently received a second hand blackberry 9550 from the USA. I live in south Africa and I need to get it to work on the vodacom network. i can make and receive voice calls but I cant use BIS and e-mail. pls help

Hi Nandie,

The only service provider that supports these phones in SA is MTN... I suggest you ask for a refund if you wish to use the phone with Vodacom. Speaking from experiance here...
