Oh, and Michael, I did the battery pull several times before you suggested, but it was a temporary fix. What if something serious happened and my only option was to dial 911 from my cell and it decided to restart? I would have been **bleep**, and someone could be seriously injured or dead from something like that, providing that my phone was in range and charged.

I did have to call 911 yesterday because of a robbery in the neighborhood. However, my phone did not work. Luckily, my wife's Palm dialed just fine. Mine froze when I took it out of the holster and began resetting. I chased down 1 of the robbers, he didn't try to fight me, which was good, and the police came and arrested him.
Needless to say--- It could have went a lot worse. And I definitely would have sued RIM and Verizon. It was cool that I witnessed and stopped a robbery. No thanks to my Storm.
