Hello! I am able to do an upgrade and I am planing on going to store over weekend. I have been waiting to get the storm for some time know... However, since reading all the reviews I am nervous; also I keep seeing things about a storm 2. Any words of advice would be appreciated.

Wait for the Storm 2. It should be a lot better than the original and it's going to have WiFi.

Agreed. If you're in no hurry to upgrade, I'd say wait for the storm 2 (or even the omnia 2 if you're really patient). I like my Storm and have very little issues with it, but others have had a heck of a lot more problems than I have.
Also, the Tour should be out soon, so you might want to give that a once over and see how you like it.
