5.0 coming to verizon tour next week

I just saw on crackberry that 5.0 update will hit verizon next thursday!!!!! I'm soooo happy.

No where it says its a vzw release or the release date.  It is a LEAKED version so you install that at your own risk.

The posting that is being referred to was for the push to talk service In that posting it stated that the tour must run OS 5 in order to use PTT,  The Tour is listed as the first device to use the new service so based on those previous statements that clearly means the OS 5 is soon on its way to those of us who have a 9630.

If you go to page 3 on crackberry.com and scroll down until you see Offical Tour 5.0 update coming from verizon next week!!!!! And this was posted on March 22, 2010.  Now if this is true or not I have no idea, I'm just telling you all what I saw on crackberry.com.  Check it our for yourself!!!!!  If someone knows anything else please feel free to respond back!!! Verizon Wireless has officially released Version 5.0 for the Blackberry Tour 9630! The upgrade was available 3/29/10 @ 11:59pm. There are a few methods to update your device:

• Over the air (wireless from your device)

• Calling Improved Bluetooth functionality for last number dialed, enhanced functionality for Voice Activated Dialing in both French and English, improved missed call log showing missed Call Waiting calls, and upgraded Call Waiting caller ID and call timer.
