i have a 8530 and recently i am getting messages, such as "the item you selected cannot be displayed. Do you wish to save the item?"" and when i try and save it i get this message unsupported media type: application/octet-stream" and I am getting this error HTTP Error: 413: Request entity too large.
any thoughts???

There was a similar post yesterday in the forums with a user having similar problems. I believe it is a problem with the device software OS 5.0.0.973. The fix for now would be to downgrade back to OS 5.0.0.886 and the problem should be cured. Hope this helps,

i did downgrade to v5.0.0.866 and nothing changed. i am wondering if the web site changed the format of the video's.
Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) does not allow files larger than 3MB (I believe this is the size) to be downloaded or transferred via email. This could be the cause of your problems.
