Every time I reactivated an old BB, my accounts were there, BUT I always needed to resend service books.
Try this:
1. Go to Options>Advanced>Host Routing Table. Press menu key for Register Now.
2. Go to the Verizon BlackBerry page (link below), log in, click on Help, then Send Service Books.

One more consideration ... when I reactivated and was unable to access email, a BES plan was put on my account instead of BIS. Check in My Verizon if you think that might be an issue.

One possibility is that you have your email accounts set to delete any emails older than 6 months or 1 year. That would have deleted all the archived emails on your phone when you reactivated it.
As far as newer emails are concerned, your Blackberry would only receive new emails from the time you reactivated the phone. It will not access (for example) last weeks emails even though they may be present on your providers server.
You could always forward any crucial emails to another account to get them to your phone if needed.
