9930 won't answer correctly

When phone rings, push the receive button, and the screen prompts you that you are connected, but your not - dead silence! Push the receive button again quicly, you hear a short busy signal, then your connected. Doesn't happen all the time, you receive only 1 out of four calls normaly. The caller on the other end hears the phone ring, then dead silence; untill I push the receive button again, and finaly you're connected. I heard it's a software issue. Phone is brand new, verizon sent out a second unit and it's doing the same.!

I can see becoming frustrating very quickly! I researched and didn't find any related concerns reported to us or RIM. Have you completed any resets on the device? Also, is this happening in a particular area, like home or the office? Keep me posted!

What is the OS version you have currently?  Have you updated your phone to 7.1.0.580?  That's the latest official from VZW.
