9930 wont start

My bold 9930 blanked out in front my eyes today after it was being charged and now it would not start.

A red light blinks on and off every 15 seconds.

I have been reading forums all night but no one seems to have a fix, my phone is from verizon. Is there a fix?

Have you tried taking the battery out for about 15 seconds and then putting it back in?

A dysfunctional phone is no fun but I am sure we can get this fixed! Just like SoccerRef12 suggested the first thing you want to try is a battery pull. Also do you have and/or are you familiar with the Blackberry Desktop Manager software? If you are unfamiliar with this software provided below is a link that will allow you to download it http://bit.ly/SJmt1I. After a battery pull I would recommend utilizing this software to possible restore your device.

i also experiencing the same problem. more worse though. i bought a verizon BB 9930 almost 2 months back and i put it on a car charger just last week and when i checked it out after an hour, it was off. i tried charging again but there was NO red light, nothing on the screen..........................................i am really sad cuz i am so much in love with it and before i could enjoy it it just died.

Please anyone with a solution can help me out. I bought it through the internet and it took 3 days to reach me in Botswana (Africa)
