If I bought the phones at the verizon store, do I pay full price for the free phone and then get a mail in rebate, or is it an instant rebate and I pay nothing for that phone?

Do it online if you want instant discounts. In store they charge suggested retail for one phone with a MIR and you get the other free of charge.

Hi, Jen,

Welcome to the forums.  I purchased my Tours online.  I recieved the discount at the time of purchase which was nice, saving me the hassel of mailing in forms and rebates.  I recieved my phones in 2 days from Verizon Wireless and activated them right away.  So, unless you absolutely can not wait for a couple of days, then go to the store and buy one.

  If you buy in the store you will have the rebate by the time your next bill comes due. It is a debit card and you can enter the number right in the web site bill for your account and get it paid. Plus they, the store can set up the phone and activate everything you need and check to make sure it is working properly. Do not go to a Kiosk or indepenedent store, stay with a Verizon owned store. The EE does receive some kind of compensation for selling a unit but it doesn't cost you anything extra.

When I go to upgrade the phones online, the only B1G1 free phone is the pearl flip phone.
