Just chatted with Verizon Sales and they advised me that the BB Classic will be released Feb 5th, 2015!!!!
Good news for all of those wanting this device I suppose...hopefully this rep wasn't just blowing smoke...
Just chatted another sales rep. They had no info on the Classic.
No matter what anyone tells you no one at Verizon you are going to talk to knows anything until it hits the website.
I have found my answer through Blackberry's website... this device is has been released.. but only to a few retailers online and at this time ONLY AT&T can provide services... BELOW straight from Blackberry ,, Verizon, Sprint and US Cellular will have the device at a later date..
the Blackberry website also states
FEATURES:
this is a situation that Verizon , Sprint or US Cellular has NO control over... BlackBerry has designed this device a certain way for some reason.. you may find the answer on their site.. but unfortunately ,, Verizon can not assist you with an answer to why...
Blackberry does state... that devices will be available to all carriers at a later date,,,
Tomorrow is the supposed big day...anyone holding their breath? I'm starting to think that Verizon isn't much interested in any new offerings from BB.
It's not coming tomorrow, so don't hold you breath too long
Yup, I agree.
It's early but no announcement yet.
50 days since BlackBerry's announcement that the Classic would be available on AT&T and Verizon.
verizon marketing of BB is non-existent. I have been a lifelong BB user and can't wait any longer. Goodbye Verizon! You just lost 30 corporate accounts.
