Have not received any AOL emails on BB today (6/25/10), although still receiving on PC. Can send emails, though.
Anyone else having this problem, or aware of any issues? I had the same issue two days ago (6/23), but no problems yesterday (6/24)
Hi. I understand that you are having trouble receiving emails. I certainly looked into this issue for you. I checked the dates specified and I do not see any alerts that it was actually not functioning. Try to dial *228 option 2 to update your roaming to see if that helps.
Please let me know if this works
Thanks!
On 6.25.10 the issue was reported. Technicians are aware that there is an outage with AOL email at this time. It will limit sending and receiving messages on some Blackberry and PDA devices. Our technicians are working diligently to resolve the issue. I apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience as we work towards resolution.
Yes, there was an incident with aol. Updating your roaming will not solve anything in a case where you're not getting email, but if you have your sent service books resent next time as a tier 1 step in troubleshooting, that usually fixes the problem.
Also, battery pulls cure about 90% of all Blackberry issues.
Just to follow up, the issue has been resolved.
