***Announcement: Early next week, we’ll be merging the current Fios and Wireless Communities into the all new Verizon Community! Beginning the evening of Sunday 12/4, both Communities will be placed in read-only mode. You’ll still be able to visit the Communities and browse content, but login will be disabled. My BBM is not working properly I am receiving messages but can not send them.  They show a red X beside the message..  Anyone know anything to try?

If you're able to use other applications that send and receive data on the wireless network with no trouble, then this could actually mean the recipient you are trying to contact may have their service suspended, not connected to wifi, or has switched devices. This has happened to me twice. Once when my brother canceled his service and moved to vzw and then again when a friend didn't pay their phone bill on time. Hope your issue has been resolved by now.
