Okay, verizon. What is the idea of suddenly removing search providers from our Blackberry browser and leaving us with only BING? Absolutely ridiculous!

Do you have BING installed on your BB? If so that maybe why. I have 5.0 Storm 1 and I have Google as my search engine. I also have access to Live Search, Wikipedia, and Dictionary.com. I had installed BING and never looked to see if it changed my search engine, but later deleted it from my Apps list.

I have a Storm 1, just did a battery pull, and I still have Google as my search engine and all of the other choices mentioned in the drop down menu. Based on all the discussion that is going on in the forums at Crackberry.com and the BlackBerry.com the issue is wide spread but it seems some BlackBerry users are not having to deal with it.

I have noticed the same thing on my S2. I used to have Google, dictionary.com, and another but now I only have Bing. I hate bing and would rather have my google back. Bing came on my phone but I have never used it because of how much I hate it.

Hey there, how's it going, well that's odd having bing in search engine something may be acting up on app, now I would remove app and re-install but before install check permission it should be custom all allowed except input simulation and browser filtering should be deny, if this is not like this then you might have a glinch on software and need to set back to defualt thru D. Manager. I have bing installed and never had a single problem. I personally like it. Would be nice if also had in search engine but I don't only in my computer internet browser " oh well!

VERIZON! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.
I have wanted an iphone for a long time but stuck with verizon because of the great family plans and the service coverage as well as the choices you provide.
This is a terrible desicions to take away the choices of browser options!! So terrible I think it would make people think twice about wanting to choose verizon over att. Dictionary, google, and wikipedia were incredibly useful search engines. And this just seems like a money making scheme travesty. Please undo it!!!!

As I said on the other thread, people need to get over it and move on. On your phone browser go to m.google.com/search and download the app and then put it in your homescreen. How hard is it to do that? people instead just rather cry and cry.

Whya whya eeeee wayola is right guys.. Get prepared BING is the feature, google is not going to be faithful in keeping privacy in feature, when owner is going to sell google, good bye to privacy..Plus Bing will be better than google you'll see.! If you want google get a app or bolt browser Or opera mini 5 that's it problem solved.
