I can not find the backup assistant icon on the Blackberry Storm and i an trying to activate my new Blackberry

If you are unable to locate the Backup Assistant application on your phone, I recommend attempting to redownload the application to your device. This can be done by following these steps:


 

  • From the Homescreen, press the Menu button.
  • Select Browser.
  • Select BUA(Backup Assistant).
    Note If the VZStartpage does not appear automatically, navigate to http://start.vzw.com.
  • Select Download Backup Assistant.
  • Ensure Set Application Permissionsis selected (checked) then select Download.
     Note The application version may differ from the example shown.
  • Ensure all permissions are set to Allow, press the Menu buttonthen select Save.
  • If presented, select Yes.
  • Select OK.
